Oswego County Pioneer Search and Rescue Team answers 55 calls for service in 2024

Pioneers continued to support local, county, and other agencies across the state in searches for lost and missing persons in 2024, demonstrating an unwavering commitment to community safety and welfare. Our volunteers with extensive training and experience in search and rescue operations, played a crucial role in coordinating efforts with law enforcement and emergency services.

Throughout the year, numerous cases emerged that required swift and efficient action, prompting the involvement of our team. We utilized advanced techniques and technologies, including drone with thermal imaging, K9's, and other search tactics, to enhance the effectiveness of the search operations. We continued to build on our strong relationship with local agencies and other nearby search and rescue teams.

Pioneers' resilience and dedication not only helped to bring individuals back to safety but also fostered a sense of unity and cooperation among various organizations we serve.
